
OSGRID, a popular opensim -based virtual world, officially opened the public to the public after the extended maintenance period. The return of the grid provides an important milestone of the OpenSIM community to explain to the user as “more professional and stable experience.”
The grid was down in early March due to the problem of the user inventory file.

The OSGRID team’s announcement today “I am pleased to announce the official resumption of OSGRID.”
The user who returns to the OSGRID must follow some important technical stages to ensure a smooth shift, the grid said. Before logging in, all returners must specify both viewers’ texture and inventory cache. Local owners also need to update to the latest code available on the OSGRID website.
Local owners must re -load the OAR file using a specific command that force the reloading assets. OAR –Force-Assets Filename.oar
However, inventory restoration through IAR files is temporarily delayed to maintain system stability.
The grid launched a solution for the general cloud avatar problem of LBSA Plaza, and the clickable question mark provides the user with the necessary exterior folders.
OSGRID, the oldest and largest opensim grid, has long been the central hub of the open source virtual world community, and the user can attach the home -based area for free and use it as a test -based for the development of opensimulator.
Will it be the biggest grid again? The probability is good because it has been returned from the longer blackout before.
