Analyst Says Meme Coin Supercycle Is Still In Progress, Predicts Doge to Reach $2 in 2024 – PlayDoge Closes at $6 Million

PlayDoge ($PLAY) is currently approaching $6 million in pre-sale funds, showing that the current market downturn is just a minor downturn compared to this year’s bullish rally.

This new meme coin continues to fascinate the crypto world, especially with the release of a cryptocurrency-based version of the classic 90s game, Tamagotchi. Once the game is released, you will be able to own a “doge” in your wallet and interact with a virtual Shiba Inu pet on your mobile device.

A prominent analyst has predicted that PlayDoge’s predecessor, Dogecoin ($DOGE), will hit $2 as the meme coin super cycle continues.

For example, Dogecoin surged by about 6,000% in early 2017 following the Bitcoin halving on July 9, 2016, and by over 30,000% in 2021 following the Bitcoin halving on May 11, 2020.

Currently Dogecoin is again in a sideways mode, and with only 3 months left until the halving, a price surge in $DOGE could occur between December and February next year.

This pattern is consistent with the Bitcoin price rally during the last two halvings, with a significant price rally beginning around 250 days later.

In 2020, Bitcoin rose 320.9% 250 days after the halving, but only 26.8% 150 days later, and 492% 300 days later.

Similarly, in 2016, Bitcoin’s price rose 78.7% 250 days after the halving, but it rose 15.5% in the first 150 days and 135.9% after 300 days.

The current gloom in the market appears to be just a short-term scare, with interest in cryptocurrencies still strong.

For new meme coins like PlayDoge, which is expected to soon reach $6 million, the current value could skyrocket significantly if it gets listed on a major exchange as more investors get their hands on it.
