Yuga Labs, a blockchain technology company best known for creating the popular Bored Ape Yacht Club and Mutant Ape Yacht Club non-fungible token collections and one of the most influential players in the non-fungible token space, has partnered with Amazon Games to Otherside Metaverse has launched an NFT game. Yuga Labs made this exciting announcement at ‘ApeFest’ held in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Amazon Gaming Is Coming Elsewhere
Yuga Labs announced in a blog post on October 25 that it has partnered with Amazon Games, a game development and publishing studio connected to the global e-commerce and technology company Amazon through its Othersidemeta Confirmed that it has been released. Yuga Labs CEO initially made this optimistic announcement at ApeFest in Las Vegas.

Launched in 2021, Yuga Labs is a renowned digital asset incubation studio developing digital assets, gaming projects and entertainment brands with strong ambitions to dominate the web3 entertainment landscape. Yuga is home to a collection of globally recognized non-fungible tokens, including the Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, and Bored Ape Kennel Club NFT collections.
Yuga Labs is also the team building the Otherside metaverse, a platform that fuses elements of online gaming and virtual worlds, with Otherdeeds holders playing a central role in the ecosystem. The digital asset company is also developing other NFT gaming experiences, such as the Dookey Dash game, to engage the community and explore the capabilities of web3 gaming. Yuga aims to build a vibrant community around its projects through storytelling and exclusive NFT events.
Meanwhile, Amazon Games is a division of “Amazon”, a popular American video game company and online retail company that primarily focuses on video game publishing within the company’s development division. The game studio aims to be the most player- and developer-centric company in gaming. Some of the games include New World and Lost Ark, and there’s an incredibly exciting future roadmap ahead.
Yuga Labs and Amazon integration
Under the new integration, the two gaming giants ‘Yuga Labs and Amazon’ are expected to join forces to create unique games in the Otherside metaverse. As part of this project, the pair released The Voyager’ Boximus, a limited edition digital collectible for the Otherside metaverse. Scheduled for release on October 30, 2025, this NFT collection will give holders access to in-game items. Christoph Hartmann, Vice President of Amazon Games, previously shared his vision for the gaming sector, saying:
“Games are bigger than ever, but so are the expectations of a much broader and more diverse set of players than the industry has ever seen. Our vision is to be the most customer-centric game creator and publisher on the planet, and to make that vision a reality, we seek out talented developers and give our teams the time and resources they need to create the highest quality games – both internally and externally. We are doing our best to provide that.”
In response to this integration, Otherside NFTs have seen an explosion in trading volume and floor price. Based on nftpricefloor.com, a well-known on-chain non-fungible token market data aggregator, Otherside Expanded’s floor price surged +42% to 0.15 ETH. Otherdeed’s lowest price for the Otherside NFT collection also rose +52% in the last 24 hours to 0.16 ETH.
