Tokyo, Japan (November 7, 2023) – SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD (“Company”) has announced the SYMBIOGENESIS Chapter 1 Whitelisting for Digital Art Collections, which provides players with the opportunity to create unique digital collectibles (“Characters”) for free. To be whitelisted, players must participate in the Whitelist Participation Campaign (“Campaign”) starting today through November 21, 2023 on the official SYMBIOGENESIS Discord server.
SYMBIOGENESIS whitelist entry information
Public casting is not possible for SYMBIOGENSIS as all characters are designed to fulfill a role or hold information about the story. The only way to create a collection on the SYMBIOGENESIS official website (default marketplace) is to whitelist and participate in campaigns. Chapter 1 provides 500 characters for casting.
Join the whitelist participation campaign
Whitelist entries operate on a points-based system, with players with the highest scores ranked at the top. Higher ranked players have a higher chance of minting characters for free. (See “Production Steps and Process” for more details.)
Whitelist Participation During the campaign, the SYMBIOGENESIS official Discord server will host a series of point-granting activities in which players can participate. The points awarded are determined by the player’s performance. As part of their participation, all participating players will receive digital collectibles that can be exchanged for points on the Chapter 2 Whitelist.
Additionally, players who have collected digital collectibles (“Artifacts”) through scavenger hunts and other satellite social media campaigns prior to whitelisting will also be awarded Campaign Points based on the number and variation they have.

The ability to read trends and make educated guesses is essential when it comes to gathering information. Players are given two choices to decide whether the majority or minority will win.
“Hard Difficulty” Quiz
Decrypting encrypted text can be useful in interpreting hidden messages. Players are faced with a series of cryptic questions with secret messages hidden in the answers. This is a test of the player’s code cracking skills.
Mint Steps and Process
Publishing a collection takes place in three stages: Any player participating in the campaign can create a character starting at 0ETH per character. However, if there is more than one player trying to acquire that character, that character will be put up for auction (English style).
Stage 1: “Stakeholder” Stage
A total of 10 positions will be open to stakeholders and people involved in the development of SYMBIOGENESIS. This step allows you to create Facet and Mesh type characters and only allows one wallet per character.
Stage 2: “Highest-ranked players first” stage
A total of 90 spots will be open at this stage, with the top 50 players and 40 players ranked between 51 and 300 selected through a random draw. Facet and Mesh type characters are available at this stage and only one wallet is allowed per character. Players who are eligible to participate in Stage 2 will also be eligible to enter Stage 3. This step increases the chances for players to create a character for free.
Stage 3: Remaining Ranked Player Stage
The remaining 400 spots will be open to all players participating in the campaign. At this stage, players are also selected through a random draw. You can create any character type at this stage and there is no limit to the number of characters you can create per wallet at this stage.
