WuTang Klan’s Ghost Face Killah releases new music via the Bitcoin network. | by Lorae K WTF Encryption | Coins | March 2024
Wu Tang Klan member Ghost Face Killah announced last week that he would be releasing new music exclusively through the Bitcoin NFT protocol, also known as Ordinals.
The announcement came from unofficial cryptocurrency news platform X (official Twitter) via a tweet from the famous 90s hip-hop star.
The collection of 10,000 inscriptions will be minted on the Bitcoin network around April with the help of Ordinals Bot, a protocol that helps users mint over the BRC-20 chain. https://ordinalsbot.com/
The owner’s copy rights to this project have been waived, so anyone who collects one of these ordinals will have exclusive rights to create and rework tracks based on me. This is made possible through the BRC-69 protocol, which allows registrars to extract data from inscriptions.
It’s becoming a popular ordinal inscription, and it looks like there will be exclusive benefits for those who have already collected the NakaPepe NFT, which can be seen here on the blockchain. https://magiceden.io/ordinals/marketplace/npepv2
While Bitcoin is hitting new all-time highs, other Ordinal-based projects like $SATS and $Ordi are gaining attention from Bitcoin holders as Ordinals prepares to become the preferred protocol in the next bull market. Yesterday $SATS ranked 3rd on coin geko.
