Wild Forest launches new lord staking system with better rewards

Wild Forest has announced a comprehensive update to its Lord Stake System, aimed at giving players greater control and significantly improved rewards.

The new system allows players to stake or unstake their lords at any time, providing a flexible approach that rewards long-term commitment.

The update will be released over the next few weeks and will introduce a variety of new features and incentives designed to increase player engagement and loyalty.

What is the new load staking system?

The updated Wildwood Lords staking system allows players to stake their lords to gain instant access to premium features within the game.

Unlike its predecessor, the new system introduces a dynamic bonus structure that evolves depending on the staking period. This means that the longer a player stakes a lord, the greater the reward.

Immediate benefits:

• • Enhanced daily mint limits: Players who stake their lords will enjoy a higher daily mint limit, allowing them to collect more items each day.
  • Exclusive Castle Features: Depending on the rarity of the staked lord, players can unlock access to unique castle features such as training camps, taverns, recruiting camps, and campfires.
  • Increased Battle Pass Rewards: Stake Lords offers improved shard and gold bonuses in the Battle Pass, making it easier for players to progress and earn rewards.
  • Early Access and Priority: Staking also gives you early access to new units, limited pre-sales, and priority access to upcoming Wild Forest NFT sales and events.

Long-term rewards:

• • Castle Rental: Players can generate additional income by renting out their castles to others and earning WF in the process.
  • Improved Reputation: A longer staking period will significantly improve a player’s reputation, improving their status within the game.
  • Enhanced Voting Rights: Those who hold a stake for a long time will have more influence in the governance of Wild Forest and will be able to shape the future of the game through the DAO.
  • Potential guild system: Wild Forest is looking to introduce exclusive guilds for dedicated road stakers where players can form teams and compete in special guild leagues. The size and power of this guild depends on the rank of the lord and how long they have been involved.

Staking Streak Bonus

The main feature of the new system is the continuous staking bonus, which rewards players based on consistency of staking.

As players continue to stake their lords, they build a succession that gradually improves the benefits they receive. This includes higher daily mint limits, reduced training times in Training Camps, and unit price discounts in the Tavern.

The bonus system starts with 0% access and you can enjoy all the benefits after 30 days of staking. Apart from that, players can also get up to 200% bonus over 9 months, which gradually increases based on 3-month and 6-month milestones.

Unstake resets these bonuses, encouraging players to maintain streaks for maximum rewards.

What happens to the existing staking system?

During the transition to the new system, all currently staked lords will retain access to all features until the new bonus system is activated. Existing staking streaks continue to accumulate, so players can benefit from new bonuses as soon as they start.

The rollout of the new features will be phased in, with the Tavern launching this week and Recruitment Camps and Campfires starting in early October.

Full implementation of the streak-based bonus is scheduled for the end of October, with Castle Leasing expected to be available in November.

Community rounds and additional incentives

To further reward loyal players, Wild Forest has allocated $600,000 for community rounds. This will help those who have staked their lords for more than 30 days.

Players who stake for more than 90 consecutive days will receive a larger allocation as recognition for their dedication. Additional rewards are also provided to recent stakers depending on the consecutive staking period.
