Advertisers must carefully evaluate and adhere to Google standards for authenticating cryptocurrency coin trusts. A positive checkmark icon means that Google Verification has been successfully completed, ensuring the quality and legitimacy of the financial products you promote.
Although initially focused on the United States, this policy has expanded globally and highlights Google’s commitment to providing a consistent and safe advertising experience globally.
In addition to Google’s standards, advertisers must also comply with local laws in their target regions, and must emphasize that they must understand and comply with the various regulatory frameworks.
When policy violations occur, Google adopts a fair and transparent approach. Violating the Cryptocurrency Coin Trust Advertising Policy will not result in immediate account suspension. Advertisers will receive a warning at least 7 days prior to possible account suspension, allowing them to make corrections and comply with policies.
This policy update marks a significant change in Google’s approach to cryptocurrency-related advertising. From a comprehensive ban in 2018, regulations have been gradually eased, and support is now being expanded to include NFT game advertising with certain conditions.
