Wall Street estimates the value of Ripple’s IPO at $150 billion. Will XRP price hit a new ATH?

Wall Street veteran Linda Jones examines Ripple’s potential initial public offering (IPO). Compared to tech giants like Nvidia, Apple, and Amazon, Jones expects Ripple’s native cryptocurrency, XRP, to set a record valuation when it reaches an all-time high (ATH) of $3.84.

Jones’ analysis combines Ripple’s legal issues with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the possibility of XRP reaching a new ATH. If XRP does so, Jones sees a significant $150 billion valuation for Ripple’s escrowed XRP, considering the 40.5 billion tokens in escrow.

Wall Street Optimism

Despite the market downturn, Wall Street experts agree with Jones’ optimism, predicting that Ripple’s IPO will set a landmark benchmark with a $150 billion XRP valuation. Ripple’s stock is valued at $350 billion, marking a significant moment for cryptocurrency IPOs. But everyone wants to know how Ripple will react when it goes public through an IPO.

Will the native token, which has been pegged at $0.50 for several months, recover and reach a new ATH?

Linking stocks and cryptocurrencies

Jones suggests that Ripple’s stock price rise could have a positive impact on XRP. Similar to Bitcoin’s influence on mining companies, she believes a thriving Ripple stock could increase interest in XRP, potentially boosting its value. Although unconventional, Bitcoin’s history illustrates such dynamism in the cryptocurrency world.

However, Ripple’s road to IPO success is fraught with regulatory hurdles, most notably the SEC’s approval process. Jones points out that potential delays could occur unless Ripple considers moving it overseas. While clarity on the status of XRP is attractive, we advise not to expect any quick moves from the company.

Will XRP hit a new ATH?

Dark Defender predicts that XRP could reach $5.85, indicating a significant increase. Recent positive price action suggests a near-term test of $0.66, with $0.55 being an important milestone for a potential bullish trend. Despite recent poor performance, XRP currently has the fifth largest market cap at $27.9 billion, trading at $0.523. If Ripple’s stock price reaches expected levels, XRP could experience a significant rebound, but this is a unique situation. Ripple’s stock movements may affect XRP, so investors need to be cautious.
