Tornado Cash Co -founder, which is released from prison, plans to focus on appeals

The court pointed out that since the smart contract is operated independently and cannot be owned, controlled or changed, the sanctions of the definition cannot prevent the use of malicious actors. The ruling also suggested that the bill will be updated to better regulate the use of encryption mixers.

Advocates argue that these services are mainly to protect user personal information. However, criminals often washed money using this service, which attracted the attention of law enforcement agencies around the world.
