highlandsa web3 management game where players manage digital versions of their real-world locations, has launched a “Share and Build” airdrop campaign to reward the community ahead of the launch of a new Ethereum-based token.
During this ongoing three-week period, users can earn points by interacting with social media posts and completing missions within the Upland app.
These points can later be converted into new ETH tokens.
Upland’s new token approach
In November 2023, Upland announced plans to introduce an Ethereum-based token linked to the in-game Sparklet currency, following a community vote in favor of the proposal.
The ‘Share and Build’ airdrop campaign offers 10 reward tiers, with tier placement determined by level of engagement with X and social metrics. Additionally, as participants work with selected Upland partners, their tier rankings increase.
Upon completing each chapter of the airdrop campaign, participants will also receive a Block Explorer NFT. By collecting five of these NFTs, players will unlock an exclusive NFT that can be used within Upland.
