The polygon has completed the hard fork to restore the finality and solve the delay in the steak proof network due to node software bugs.

Layer 2 Scaling Solution Ether POLYGON reported the completion of the hard fork. After this update, the milestones were processed as expected, the status synchronization was in operation, the checkpoint was in progress, and the consensus finalization was completely restored in the polygonal proof network.
Polygon’s team said in X, “We will monitor the network so that everything is stable. Thank you for your patience.
Polygon has started a milestone to solve the interruption of the steak certificate of POLYGON, in which the bugs of the Node software generate a local fast final delay. The fundamental cause of the final problem was confirmed, and in the case of Heimdall, the V2.2.11-Beta2 and V0.3.1 were released for BOR, and the latter was introduced as a solid fork scheduled for UTC at 3:00 pm.
In this system, the polygon uses the term “milestone” to explain the local fast finalism that reflects the crystal status of the Layer 2 network. The final castle of the Ether Leeum Mainnet remains in operation, but the milestone of the polygon is delayed from 10 to 15 minutes, resulting in sync problems and slowing transaction confirmation.
Payment shows that if the validity test machine agrees to the network state, the transaction is considered irreversible. The block is continuously produced and added every few seconds, but without the finals, the possibility of reconstruction or rollback is limited. The chain continues to process and creates a block, but the exact reason for the network interruption on Wednesday is still not determined.
The polygon faces the final destruction for 1 hour for several weeks after the Heimdall V2 upgrade.
The polygon functions as a collection of Ether Leeum Scaling Solutions to improve blockchain performance by moving calculations and data storage from the main chain to a faster and more efficient environment. Starting with a single chain has expanded to a broader ecosystem of interconnected blockchains developed to solve the demand for interoperability.
Earlier this year, POLYGON introduced Heimdall V2, which focuses on improving stability, improving effective test equipment, and solving legacy technology problems that go back to 2018 and 2019. A few weeks after the most technically challenging hard fork since 2020, the network has experienced confusion that lasts about an hour of supervision.
