As a person who rises in the XR industry and sometimes found by chance, I realized that I was fascinated and worried about the latest announcement of Mark Zuckerberg. The Meta CEO’s promise to spend “billions of dollars” in the AI data center indicates more than just investment. This is an earthquake change that can fundamentally reconstruct the environment of immersive technology that we all bet.

The details were huge when Zuckerberg announced META’s SuperIntelligence on July 14. The company’s first multi -giga watt data center, “Prometheus”, will be offered online in 2026, and other facilities called “hyperion” will be extended to up to five gigabytes.
