Starting December 19th, the Lunacians’ ax parts will begin evolving. This is more than just a new feature in App.Axie. Part Evolutions will reshape the Axie economy while deepening your emotional bond with your Axies. Today you can get a head start on evolving parts by unlocking axes and acquiring materials. This is an ERC-1155 token needed to evolve Axie parts. Below I’ll share more details on how and why you might want to turn off the axes.

Back in November we teased the connection between collectible axes, lucky slips and Garuda Shrine stores. Today we made those three thrilling. Exchange your Lucky Slips at the Garuda Shrine Shop for a chance to win on-chain rewards. Start now!
At the Garuda Shrine Shop, you can exchange 10 Lucky Slips for 1 Lucky Pouch or 50 Lucky Slips for 1 Premium Lucky Pouch. Each product contains only one item at a time. Coco and Premium Coco are both delicious snacks made with chocolate that Exis enjoy. Premium Coco is packed with decadent surprise fillings! This is the first type of consumable, a collection of ERC-1155 tokens that are also power-ups for axies. Coco grants a +50 AXP boost when given to an axie, while Premium Coco grants a +200 AXP boost when given to an axie. There are two ways to get this delicious treat. Obtain it by exchanging Fortune Slips at the Garuda Shrine Shop or purchase it from the App.Axie Secondary Market. Here’s how to get Coco into your axies’ belly:
Level 1: Go to App.Axie’s inventory and click “Manage Axie”.
Step 2: Select “Use consumables”.
Step 3: Select Coco or Premium Coco, specify the amount and click “Give”. Excellent!
To prevent overfilling of the axle, we created the Coco Daily AXP Cap. This means that you can only get AXP by feeding Coco to your axies per day. However, the AXP limit obtained from Coco increases every 10 levels.
Materials are objects found around Lunasia. This can be plants, minerals, artifacts, etc. Each axie will leave a thank-you gift-like material upon release. Today we introduce Mementos. Souvenirs are small figurines made of various materials, depending on which Axi tribe they are honoring. They represent the joy of life and serve as a reminder for axies to live each day to the fullest and always strive to achieve their true potential.
Each Axi has its own souvenir, and the racial souvenir must match the Axi’s parts to evolve. You’ll need varying amounts of these memorabilia to evolve your axie’s parts, but there are a few things you need to know before you start saying goodbye to your axies. Let’s talk about the quantity and quality of materials needed and how to obtain them.
Starting today, whenever you launch axie, you will receive Mementos as an ERC-1155 token in your Ronin wallet. On December 19th, you can use this souvenir to evolve your Axi parts. For example, let’s say right now we’re releasing an axie with 6 Beast parts. Beast Mementos will appear in your Ronin wallet in minutes! It gets even more interesting when you release axes with different classes of parts. Release beasts, reptiles and axes with new parts to get different types of souvenir combinations. The higher the level and number of varieties of Axi you release, the higher your chances of obtaining more materials.
We know that many Lunacians want to acquire a lot of materials quickly. That’s why we created a tool called Kendama. This tool allows you to filter axes by number of breeds and levels and then adopt them in bulk. Sweep up to 12 axes in one transaction and save time when adopting new axes. Kendama tools will soon be integrated into App.Axie. Use it here for now!
Starting December 19th, the Lunacians’ ax parts will begin evolving. We will share more information about the evolution process and costs once work begins. But this is more than just a new feature in App.Axie. Part Evolutions will reshape your Axie economy while deepening your emotional bond with your axie.
