Studies show that 93% of Nigerians want to invest in cryptocurrencies.

A recent survey from ConsenSys and YouGov highlights the growing interest in cryptocurrencies in emerging markets. According to the study, 93% of Nigerians intend to invest in cryptocurrency within the next year, followed by South Africans at 77%. Other countries such as the Philippines, India, and Indonesia showed strong enthusiasm at 59%, 58%, and 54%, respectively. In contrast, developed markets have shown less interest in cryptocurrency investment, with only 41% of Americans and 15% of Britons willing to invest. The findings highlight a significant gap in cryptocurrency adoption between emerging and developed economies and demonstrate the growing potential of digital assets in regions undergoing rapid financial innovation.
