Starpath users benefit from successfully promoting Star Atlas every time a referral recipient completes a primary or secondary (P2P) purchase on the Galactic Marketplace.

Referrers are compensated 25% of the net price on the first sale and 25% of ATMTA’s share of the commission on the second sale. Rewards for each referred user will remain at this level for 12 months after that user’s first purchase, after which a 5% sales share will be applied for the duration of the Starpath program. Referred users receive a 10% discount on standard sales in the marketplace and can use it for 90 days.

New Starpath Overview

Users sign up for Starpath at Play.StarAtlas.com. This is where a referral link will be created in your player profile. The link in your profile will take you to the Buddy Link platform to monitor referral activity.

The user who created the link will no longer be able to receive referrals, but existing referral benefits will remain the same. Referral codes are randomly generated.

When a new user clicks on your referral link, they will be connected to the original referral and all purchases will be attributed to that referral. Subsequent clicks on the referral link will not change the associated referral page. If a user clears their browser cache before making their first purchase, the referral source will be reset.

Referred users will see a badge with a basic sales discount directly in Galactic Marketplace.

When you make your first purchase with your wallet, your referring user will be permanently locked to the referrer.

When a user purchases through your referral link, a link is automatically created to offer a potential referral discount.

The new Starpath rewards can be claimed on the Buddy Link platform, which leads to the player’s profile on StarAtlas.com.

The reward structure has a maturity curve that encourages early user behavior. For referrers, the 25% commission on basic sales will last for 12 months, after which it will be reduced to 5% for the remainder of the Starpath program. This incentive is paid out per referral, not per account. Therefore, every new referral starts a new 12-month timer for that referrer’s purchases. The 10% discount for referred users expires in 90 days.

For participating users, Buddy Link applies a special promotional platform fee of 0% for 90 days, and a lower fee of 3% thereafter.
