Star Atlas Dao is the basis of Star Atlas Vision for Cyber Nations. It is the heartbeat of the distributed meta buses where players and community members hold on the reins. Role of the member of the council: Guardian of DAO

There is a DAO council to simplify and organize Star Atlas DAO. It consists of five elected community members who act as administrators and stewards of DAO’s governance process. Their responsibility includes fostering productive discussions on the Polis Improvement Proposals (PIPS), providing feedback to PIP authors, developing proposals that can be executable for Star Atlas Foundation for voting, and suggesting a resolution for improving the operation of DAO. Think of them as representatives who protect the will of the community. Main proposal organization and discussion, and all decisions make the value of the DAO shine.

Pip-10: refined election process

At the end of the first council, the DAO will begin to prepare for the second election period. The upcoming election will be the first election according to the rules of the PIP-10, and is a proposal to improve the election procedure approved for overwhelming community support and prevent the future. Expansion term: The terms of the council increase from six months to nine months, providing more time for members to manage influential governance initiatives.
Overlap period (starting 3): The newly elected “Council member kick” from the third term observes the council for a month to ensure a smooth shift without interfering with the ongoing work.
Simplified voting: Select a single ranking (single transferable voting) The voting round replaces a multi -round system that simplifies elections regardless of the number of candidates.
Consistent rules: The PIP-10 sets the predictable guidelines for all future elections unless modified by the new PIP.

Upcoming Election: Step and Time Line

The term of the first council starts on October 11, 2024 (16:00 UTC) and ends on April 11, 2025 (16:00 UTC). The second semester election will soon begin to ensure a smooth handover. The way to develop is as follows (always UTC).

Name stage (March 14, 2025 -March 20): From March 14th, community members can be self -reliant through this form. The candidate shares his background and qualifications to set the stage of a lively campaign.
Campaign stage (March 14, 2025 -April 6): The candidates participated in the governance discussion and gathered support to start the ground. Star Atlas Foundation will publish the candidate details within 3 days after the nomination deadline (until March 23).
Voting stage (March 24 -April 6, 2025): The single ranking selection voting PIP opens, allowing PVP holders to rank the best candidate. The voting ends at the end of April 6.
Winners Announcement (April 7, 2025): Five winners are released to form a second semester council.
Handover (April 11, 2025, 16:00 UTC): Members of the new council take on their own role and begin their nine -month term.
