At Sorare, we are excited about the launch of NBA Rivals in 2024. The team has been working hard to create a new way to play Sorare that lives up to the expectations of the casual, social and passionate NBA community. Pan.
However, we acknowledge that our commitment to NBA Rivals has delayed the launch of core features such as Sorare NBA’s collection games and club store. These features have been successfully integrated into Sorare Football, and their introduction into Sorare NBA has been eagerly anticipated since their announcement prior to the start of Season 2. We understand the frustration these delays cause.
Your feedback plays an important role in determining our priorities. We are aware of the issues our users are facing, especially with Sorare Pro. We are actively pivoting to bridge these gaps and enrich the Pro Mode experience in Sorare NBA while navigating various constraints.
To accommodate the NBA schedule for the final stages of the season’s tournaments, Game Week 13 will be extended from Monday, December 4 to Saturday, December 9. This also includes the season tournament finals.
There will be no NBA games on Sunday, December 10th. The normal Game Week schedule will resume beginning with Game Week 14 on Monday, December 11.
For the first season’s knockout stages of the tournament, we’re back with another special set of competitions where players compete to lift the NBA Cup for the first time. There is also a total prize pool of $25,000 available. Read below for more details about each competition.
Sorare NBA’s knockout stage takes place on Friday, December 1 and consists of four competitions.

General instructions
There are some rules that remain the same across all competitions, whether beginner, intermediate, advanced or expert.
- calculated game: Only the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals of the season tournament are reflected in the competition. This means that only players from the eight eligible teams will be able to participate in the lineup.
- grading: Scores remain consistent across all aspects, including but not limited to expert rarity bonuses.
- key competition: Sorare’s core competitions will continue with the same extended schedule and include all games within Game Week, including in-season tournaments. There is currently no season card requirement for this competition.

We’re bringing back special weekly competitions right after the in-season tournaments end, giving you more ways to set your lineup and compete. This runs in addition to the core competition, giving administrators more ways to utilize the gallery.
Under-23 competition (GW14 & GW15)
The Under-23 competition is perfect for those who believe in the power of youth. The lineup must consist only of players 23 years of age or younger.

- Player Eligibility: Only available to players under 23 years of age

- card eligibility: Two of the cards must be 2023-24 cards.
- rarity: Compete in four variants: Common, Limited, Rare, and Super Rare/Unique.
- reward: First place will receive exclusive autographed merchandise from Orlando Magic star Paolo Banchero, while other top finishers will also receive NBA Store gift cards.
Veterans (GW16 and GW17)
Experience takes the stage — this competition is designed to honor the seasoned veterans of the NBA. It’s time to show the value of your experience.

- eligibility: Only available to players over 30 years of age
memo: Sorare NBA player age limit date is February 1 of this year. In other words, no matter what player is born Before February 1, 1993 You are eligible to participate in the Veteran Competition.
- card eligibility: Two of the cards must be 2023-24 cards.
- rarity: Compete in four variants: Common, Limited, Rare, and Super Rare/Unique.
- reward: Top ranked participants will receive an NBA Store gift card.
NBA Christmas (GW18)
NBA Christmas Day is a special one-day competition taking place during Game Week 18. It’s the day when the magic of Christmas meets the thrill of basketball.
Key Features:
- eligibility: Only players participate in the Christmas Day game
- card eligibility: Two of the cards must be 2023-24 cards.
- leaderboard: Common, Limited, Rare, Super Rare, Unique
- reward: You can get a special edition card! First place will also receive an autographed Jalen Brunson merchandise pack, while other top finishers will compete for an NBA Store gift card.
Sorare NBA has always strived to provide an exciting and rewarding experience for our community. But with the recent decline in mint numbers for NBA cards, we are faced with a new challenge. Our ability to provide rewards to rare competition participants has been significantly limited. These changes addressed both the rate and quality of rewards, especially in Champion and Contender competitions, while addressing the lack of new cards.
We want to increase the percentage of users receiving rewards from Rare Champion & Contender. To achieve this, we are introducing basic Market Credits as rewards starting from Game Week 15. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to enhance the Sorare NBA experience and ensure the community continues to enjoy engaging and rewarding competition.
How primary market credit works
- Applies when purchased through auction or instant purchase
- Up to 25% discount applies to your purchase.
- Example: If you purchase a card for $10, you can apply a credit of up to $2.50.
- All cards purchased using credit require a two week hold period.
This approach allows us to test more reward types to give more managers a sense of accomplishment in professional competition, including other shortcomings. We encourage the community to share feedback and suggestions as we continue to refine and improve the details of primary market credit.
We would like to once again emphasize that multiple accounts are a clear violation of our Terms of Use. This undermines the fair play and community trust on which the Sorare NBA is based. We recognize the importance of addressing this issue head-on.
We are increasing our efforts to strengthen account audits and strictly enforce our Terms of Service. This includes more tools and more frequent reviews to identify and act on multiple accounting. We have already begun taking action against notable violators and will continue to do so. Thank you to the community for supporting this.
Instant Buy is coming to Sorare NBA! Starting today, November 30th, a number of limited edition cards will be available for immediate purchase at a set price. Starting Thursday, December 7th, coaches using cards in Sorare NBA lineups will not be able to have those cards listed on the Manager Selling Marketplace at the same time or included in trade offers (i.e., coaches cannot list and use cards at the same time). .
Once a sale or trade transaction is completed, the associated card is immediately voided from the lineup and the entire lineup is unable to score points during game week. If a manager receives a direct offer for a player card in a current or future lineup, that lineup will only be void if the manager accepts the offer.
For example, if an administrator has registered a card in the marketplace, it cannot be entered into a lineup unless the administrator approves that the card be removed from the marketplace. To register a card on the Marketplace for sale or for inclusion in a trade, the administrator must confirm the registration and acknowledge that the player card will be removed from lineups and training teams (both live and future). Administrators will receive a warning message stating that registering a card in the Marketplace will invalidate the lineup and vice versa.
