Sorare Football Stadium Notes: DNP Rewards Update, Android Beta App Launch, More | Sorare | Sorare | December 2023
As part of our commitment to regular updates, we bring you the latest stadium news.
First, we’re covering two key items: DNP and subscriber and admin challenge updates that have been added to the reward pool based on analytics and community feedback. We also have some exciting news to share with Android admins regarding the progress of the app.
DNP + subscribers in reward pool
We understand that certain edge cases deviate from the intended design for the inclusion of irregular starters in the reward pool. I’d like to take a moment to clarify this decision and provide some feedback.
As explained in the announcement, it was important to adapt our reward system to continue providing managers with a fun and sustainable experience. Excluding substitutes and DNPs resulted in an over-reliance on regular starters, resulting in an unequal distribution of rewards each game week in relation to total supply. This change is intended to reduce the number of duplicate player card rewards and increase overall reward variety.
As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we have a clear plan to address situations where DNPs and substitutes are compensated outside of their intended ranks. We are making the following adjustments to address these issues:
- Tighten the conditions for flagging DNP players when there is not enough data to accurately place cards in a reward tier.
- Adjusting a DNP’s tier position in the prize pool to better reflect the actual appeal of that card to administrators.
These changes will be implemented during rewards distribution on Friday, December 22nd. However, these changes are not yet reflected in the pool. It was important to implement it as quickly as possible, but adjusting the platform’s full display will take more time.

New Android app in beta version
We’re excited to announce the imminent launch of the new Sorare Android app open beta, a major milestone in our mission to make Sorare the ultimate fantasy sports mobile companion.
As we shared in previous announcements, we’ve put a lot of effort into improving our Android app. After several weeks of rigorous testing by a group of Sorare admins in a closed beta, we are almost here to expand the opportunity for all interested Android-based Sorare admins to participate in the public beta phase and provide valuable feedback.
This new Android app makes almost all the features once exclusive to Sorare’s web platform easily accessible on your mobile. Get ready to enjoy all the features of Sorare on your Android device!
We will provide more details on how to register when the beta version is released in the future.
We’re also actively working on the Sorare iOS app and hope to bring similar improvements to your iOS devices soon.
Manager Challenge: Common Pro Update
Current Common Pro eligibility rules state that managers are excluded from Common Pro competition if they own more than 10 Limited cards. As a result, we received many requests to automatically complete common tasks when managers collect 10 or more exclusive cards.
Good news for perfectionists: The Common Pro challenge will now automatically be confirmed complete for admins with 10 or more exclusive cards.
