Sharpe AI, an AI-based cryptocurrency application, announced that the airdrop confirmation program for its token, SAI, will open today at 1:00 PM UTC.
To receive the Season 1 airdrop, users must meet certain criteria, which includes accumulating at least 1000 Sharp Points by trading Sharp’s products throughout the entire Season 1 period.
Additional criteria are that the user must meet at least one of the following conditions: participate in at least 2 of the last 9 EPOCHs, include an existing EPOCH, or participate in the previous Galxe and Intract campaigns. The user must also generate at least 100,000 Sharp Points throughout Season 1.
Sharpe AI plans to allocate an airdrop to each user, giving them a bonus of 500 SAI. The remaining tokens will be sourced from the Sharpe Pool and converted to SAI tokens. Additionally, the soft cap for each user will be set at 200,000 SAI, and users who reach Gold status in Season 1 will receive an additional 20,000 SAI.
SAI tokens offer 35% APY staking and governance features among other benefits.
Sharpe AI is a self-custodial SuperApp tailored for decentralized finance (DeFi) power users, trading teams, and institutional investors. It integrates a variety of features including deep data intelligence, advanced DeFi strategies, sophisticated swaps, perpetual and options trading, bridging, onramping, and DeFi execution into a comprehensive cryptocurrency platform.
SAI is the basic utility and governance token of the project ecosystem. It provides several key functions. In particular, the staking program provides a 35% annual yield (APY) distributed every hour, encouraging individuals to stake tokens and earn passive income. In addition, SAI staking provides users with enhanced trading rewards during the upcoming SAI airdrop season and discounted fees for Sharpe’s trading products. In addition, the token allows holders to participate in governance activities, including voting on platform decisions, proposing new features, and participating in upgrades.
The total supply of SAI tokens is 1 billion, 3.6% of which will be unlocked in the Token Generation Event (TGE). The vesting period will range from 10 to 36 months. According to the SAI token economics, the allocation is as follows: 20% of the total supply will go to the ecosystem and development, 20% to the treasury, 17.67% to liquidity, 15% to the team and advisors, 13% to marketing and airdrops, 6.67% to seed investors, 6.67% to strategic investors, and 1% to public distribution.
