Second Life Flickr Pick of the Day: An Interesting and Beautiful Conceptual Image of Demons in Heaven
Kaza Lilyhook Covering the best screenshot art and digital paintings from the virtual world.
at my first sight heavenly devil When I saw the untitled photo of the man lying on the ground, I thought he was a rock. But of course a closer and slower look revealed a much more interesting picture. I love how he uses the body as scenery. It is his lighting that makes the body appear part of the landscape and makes it more abstract. reminiscent of Carl Warner’s body landscape, The same goes for the surprising exploration of the human body and the celestial and demonic terrain.

“Once Again” is probably the most easily understood picture in Celestial’s portfolio. Sometimes people think that the more opaque or vague the basic concept, the nobler the picture, but I think the opposite is true. Communicating clearly is more difficult and requires more artists. They can’t just make something and say it means something. You need to convey what you mean clearly, even without words, so that most people who see it will understand it. And if you struggle with intent, the artist has a narrative that fits the intent.
“Watereagle” fascinated me. Swimming with fans may be difficult, but it sure makes for a great picture. Again, my first glass did not recognize anyone in the water. Technically we see a swan and not an eagle, but the picture has resolved so we can see a person (or, if we’re being picky, a devil). I love how Celestial makes the picture so crisp, white, and sharp. Black with little gray. The world seen through the eyes of the devil is cold but beautiful.
Heavenly Devil’s Photostream It’s interesting and beautiful. If there must be a devil in our world, it is fortunate that it is this devil. I wrote about celestial devil Even a few years ago, it was very interesting to see the way art changes over time.
