American stockbroker and gold investor Peter Schiff has repeatedly called Bitcoin a bubble and said he still does not believe in its long-term future. He turned down the opportunity to invest in Bitcoin in 2010 when it was trading at just a few dollars. A longtime Bitcoin critic, he wanted to buy Bitcoin regardless of his beliefs about the long-term theory. He asks, “Would I have decided to invest $10,000, $50,000, or $100,000?” Schiff said this during a discussion with cryptocurrency investor Raoul Pal on the Impact Theory podcast on Wednesday. He estimated that if he did, he would be worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and he also wasn’t sure what he would do in that situation.
