If you are looking for a collectible axi holder, pay attention! Collectible boxes are back. Earn a collectible chest by finishing at Dragon level or higher during Origins S8 Epic Era. Don't forget to have a collection of axes throughout the entire era to qualify.
The Age of Rare is over and the Age of Epic has begun! Congratulations to all Lunacians who made it to the Rare Era leaderboards. A big round of applause to J0N for taking first place with Feather Fan all Bird Comp!
During the Rare Era, a wave of bubble teams kicked off the meta, but players soon adapted. feather. anemone. jinx. poison. A sleep-focused team is also here, thanks to our newest starter axi, Mít! This is just the beginning of Season 8, and we're excited to share what the Epic Era has in store. Let's jump in!
S8 Leaderboard Rewards
In Origins S8, approximately 81,000 AXS were secured through leaderboard rewards. Take part in battles during the Epic Era to earn 30% of those rewards, or a whopping 24,300 AXS! Check out the newly stocked Origins store, purchase runes and talismans, count your scrap, and prepare for battle. Here's an overview of the S8 Leaderboard rewards:
NOTE: Players can now claim AXS rewards at the end of each Era rather than waiting until the end of the season. You'll soon be able to receive rewards from App.Axie. Read our article Previous announcement For details.
Enter gauntlet mode
Earlier this year we teased plans for a new gauntlet mode for Origins. Gauntlet mode goes live today! Earn Moon Shards and AXP by winning games during a Gauntlet session. This is a limited-time game mode that runs from 3:00:00 UTC on April 17th to 3:00:00 UTC on April 29th. Here's how to get started:
Level 1: Select Gauntlet mode and pay the 500 Moon Shard entrance fee. Each item costs 1 stamina.
Step 2: Choose 1 buff from 3 random options shown on screen. This buff applies to all axes on your team for the duration of the battle. Players only have 15 seconds to select a buff!
Step 3: Battle your opponents in the Origins arena!
Step 4: Repeat steps 2 and 3 with new opponents until the Gauntlet session ends.
A gauntlet session ends when a player wins 7 games or loses 2 games.

We're excited to introduce this new feature to Origins and give players more opportunities to earn rewards in Origins. Earn Moon Shards and AXP through Gauntlet Mode and take home AXS from the Origins Leaderboard and Bounty Board. And there's more. Let’s talk about collectible boxes.
Collectible Box for Collectible Axie Holder
Holders of collectible axes can receive various rewards from Lunacia. This is the ability to receive fortune slips. Unlimited Coco Hats for Mystique. Enter the collectible Colosseum in Classic. During Origins S8 Epic Era, these lucky Lunacians will also receive a collectible chest upon completing Dragon rank or higher!
Imagine a digital collectible that also acts as a battle pass. This was the inspiration for the collectible box rewards. The highest tier of Collectible Axis you have determines your AXS bonus, which rewards the most dedicated collectors on Lunacia. Collectors will soon be receiving boxes of rare era collectibles.
Note: To receive a Collectible Chest, the Collectible Ax must be on your account before the Era begins and remain on your account until the Era ends.
