Nio’s Nightmare Draw Update – Created by Axie Infinity

• The winner of the Nio’s Nightmare lottery will be announced on December 24th! Winners will be announced at nioraffle.axiefinity.com. We will take a final snapshot of raffle ticket holders tomorrow, December 21st at 00:00 UTC. As previously announced, Coco will be burning all raffle tickets to give community members greater chances to win.

In November, we launched Nio’s Nightmare Raffle alongside Wings of Nightmare. We’ll do a final tally this weekend and choose a winner! We employ a custom algorithm to ensure fairness and randomness and will announce the winner on December 24th. Here’s how it works:

Our team will use a custom algorithm to select the winners of Nio’s Nightmare Raffle. Community members can also verify the integrity of the draw themselves! We created the Twisted Generalized Shift Feedback Register (TGSFR) algorithm to achieve this task. The process is as follows:

First, let’s label each drawing ticket from 1 to the total number of tickets in circulation. On December 24th, two secret codes hashed by Pos2 and Coco will be released.

We will input these codes through the TGSFR algorithm to generate random numbers for the products. Next, we will assign these random numbers to the products. All are limited to the total number of circulating tickets. Finally, match each raffle ticket number to its corresponding prize. If you have a raffle ticket that matches the prize, you can win that prize!

NOTE: We will be airdropping Nio’s Nightmare raffle prizes within two weeks of announcing the winners on December 24th.

Last month, we also announced that the top six raffle ticket holders would receive the privilege of nominating one of the Nightmare Axies to be featured in the upcoming Nightmare axie comic series. Although this is not a token or monetary reward, these Axies will soon become part of a lasting nightmarish legacy. We’ll announce the top six holders on December 24th!

As 2024 comes to a close, it’s easy to feel nostalgic as we look back on all we’ve accomplished this year. Wings of Nightmare. Bounty Board. Classic Guild. The list goes on and I know there have been challenges along the way. The next few days are a great time to recharge and recharge with friends and family while we wait for Nio’s Nightmare Raffle winners to be announced.
