Over the next week or so, the Ronin team will be changing the prefix of Ronin addresses from: Ronin: to 0x. This will increase our Ethereum alignment. But you might be wondering, “What is the prefix in Atia’s name and how does it affect App.Axie?” We are here to answer these questions.
Every blockchain address has a prefix and a long string of characters. Typically, all addresses on the same blockchain have same prefix but different later characters. Check out the image above to see how prefixes change the appearance of Ronin addresses.
So how will this affect App.Axie?
Today’s App.Axie update means that both types of Ronin address prefixes work in App.Axie, and RNS names also work. Use the .ron name. address with 0x prefix or address Ronin: prefix. For more information about Ronin’s new prefix support, keep an eye on the Ronin blog.
Our digital nation is only six years old, but many Lunasian individuals have already achieved much. Badges celebrate these achievements and make it easier for others to recognize some of the OGs. Today we are pleased to recognize a milestone in the evolution of our components with this new badge series. The new Activity and Analytics tabs are also a lot of fun. Go to App.axie to see it all for yourself and find out what badges you’ve earned!
