LATOKEN is pleased to announce Symbol (XYM) support for NEM (XEM) on its platform.
The Symbol is an efficient, modern and user-friendly blockchain platform. This is what we aim to provide our services to: institutions, companies and entrepreneurs.
XYM, the native currency of the public blockchain Symbol, is scheduled to launch in December 2020. XYM has fundamental value as the currency of the economy. It is used to settle transactions so that the network of public nodes that process and record transactions are incentivized.
It is important to note that modification data on the NEM public chain will be reset to Symbol upon public chain launch.
Based on your XEM account balance on the NEM blockchain, all XYM will be allocated to your user account when the Symbol public chain is launched. By default, if a user owns 1 XEM at the time of the snapshot, 1 XYM will be credited to their account.
For the upcoming anniversary trading competition, we have decided to remove all mandatory restrictions during the competition period for XEM LATOKEN holders only. Stay tuned for more updates!
