The device runs on PlaytronOS, a gaming operating system compatible with a variety of hardware configurations, allowing access to multiple game stores, including Steam and Epic Games Store, through an integrated launcher.
When will SuiPlay0X1 be released to the global market?
Scheduled for global launch in 2025, SuiPlay0X1 provides native web3 functionality that integrates Sui blockchain technology for asset ownership linked directly to the device's account system.
“We are building a new gaming operating system suitable for unlocking PCs,” said Kirt McMaster, CEO of Plateron. Effectively, we’re trying to extract the PC gaming ecosystem from Windows and rebuild it on our own operating system.”
Having already secured partnerships with several game developers, Mysten Labs aims to ensure a variety of games for SuiPlay 0X1 users.
Adeniyi Abiodun, Chief Product Officer at Mysten Labs, added: “We've been looking at how to bring this product to market, but we think there needs to be an affordable device that people can actually find usable and value in all aspects.
