Metaplex Expands to Sonic SVM to Accelerate Game Development
The Metaplex Foundation announced the deployment of the Solana-based token protocol and core suite of products on Sonic SVM, the first gaming-specific Solana Virtual Machine (SVM). This strategic move will improve the developer experience by providing more powerful tools and on-chain programs tailored to games on the SVM chain.
Metaplex has partnered with Sonic SVM to provide a suite of products including Token Metadata, Core, and Candy Machine (v3/cv3) on Sonic SVM’s devnet, testnet, and mainnet. New additions such as MPL 404, Bubblegum Product Launch, and MPL-Hybrid are also included in the integration.
