In its latest integration, multi-chain non-fungible token marketplace Magic Eden has partnered with Ubisoft and the Arbitrum Foundation to launch a new NFT game, proving that NFT games are regaining their footing.
Magic Eden and Ubisoft join to launch new NFT game
In a blog post on October 4, NFT marketplace Magic Eden confirmed that it had partnered with Ubisoft to launch a new non-fungible token game called ‘Captain Laserhawk.’ The recent integration between Magic Eden and Ubisoft has brought hope among gamers. Blockchain-based games have been around since 2017, but they have gained more attention in the video game industry in 2021. Over the past few years, NFT games have lost traction.

The joint team announced plans to release a new collection of non-fungible tokens to allow holders to participate in this new shooting game. Magic Eden and Ubisoft have launched a new shooting game on Arbitrum, the Ethereum layer 2 network.
The Captain Laserhawk NFT collection features a limited edition of 10,000 NFTs hosted on the Arbitrum blockchain network. Each NFT acts as a gateway to an immersive gaming experience and provides players with access to a governance model, user-generated content (UGC) capabilities, and a rewards system.
