Tatsumeeko, a free-to-play JPG and life simulation game developed by Tatsu Works, will be joining Ronin Network.
Known for combining turn-based combat with social simulation elements, the game aims to integrate with Ronin to provide additional features and expand its reach.
As part of this integration, Tatsumeeko will introduce its ecosystem, including the casual Telegram game Lumina Hunt and the full RPG experience Lumina Fates.
What is Tatsume Eko?
Developed by Tats Works, Tatsumeko is a life simulation RPG set in the magical world of Elia, richly mixing RPG elements with relaxing simulation elements.
Players take on the role of an Awakener, fighting enemies in turn-based combat, completing quests, and customizing the interior of their home. The unique combination of strategic combat and life simulation activities will appeal to a wide range of players, from casual gamers to RPG enthusiasts.
The game consists of two core products: Lumina Hunt, a casual idle game version, and Lumina Fates, a full JRPG experience. Together, they form the backbone of the Tatsumeeko ecosystem, which aims to provide casual and competitive gameplay in an immersive 2.5D world.
The Tatsumeeko ecosystem is built around three interconnected components:
-
- Luminar Hunt: A casual idle game available on Telegram. Luminar Hunt Players will be able to capture creatures called Lumins and send them on expeditions to earn off-chain currency called Vabloons. These Vabloons are expected to be exchangeable for $TATSU tokens, which will play a role in the game economy. Lumina Hunt is expected to launch on the Ronin Network before the end of 2024 and will be the first Telegram game integrated with Ronin.
- Tats.GG: It is a Discord-based system featuring collection and idle RPG elements. With over 1.5 million Discord communities integrated with Tatsu.GG, players can collect and trade resources across a variety of games.
- Luminary Fates: Lumina Fates, the main game in the Tatsumeeko series, offers a life simulation RPG experience. Players can control the Awakener, customize their characters, and explore the world of Ielia. Closed and open beta tests are planned to take place before the end of 2024. As part of the Ronin integration, in-game items such as equipment and furniture are planned to be tradeable as NFTs.
What can we expect from this collaboration?
As part of Tatsumeeko’s expansion into Ronin, players will soon be able to participate in Lumina Hunt, where players will capture mystical creatures called Lumins and send them on expeditions to obtain Vabloons. These off-chain points can eventually be exchanged for $TATSU tokens, which power the entire Tatsumeeko ecosystem. The casual, idle game rewards players for their Lumins’ success in missions, and allows them to accumulate additional points by participating in leaderboards and referrals.
These changes will open up new opportunities for both casual and competitive players, and features like tradeable NFTs are expected to roll out alongside the game’s full launch.
With the addition of Tatsumeeko, Ronin continues to expand its portfolio of games, including major projects such as Forgotten Runiverse and Ragnarok: Monster World.
