Kremlin unveils plans to build a “politics-free” BRICS blockchain-based payment system

Yury Ushakov, an adviser to Russian President Vladimir Putin, has revealed plans to create a digital blockchain payment system for the BRICS bloc. Ushakov said the group’s countries would benefit from implementing such a system for the use of governments, the public and businesses, calling it convenient, cost-effective and “free (…)”.
