io.net partners with Ritual to level up global AI computing space

February 26, 2024 –– Decentralized GPU network io.net announced a strategic partnership with decentralized AI network Ritual. The groundbreaking collaboration aims to make significant strides in transforming the AI computing sector by leveraging and amplifying the existing synergies between the two platforms.

io.net provides tools to facilitate streamlined access to low-cost GPU compute capacity, and the io.net cloud provides the infrastructure and architecture for deploying distributed GPU clusters across multiple locations. Meanwhile, Ritual helps users seamlessly integrate AI models into protocols, applications, or smart contracts with minimal coding effort.

Ahmad Shadid, founder of io.net, expressed his enthusiasm for long-term partnerships: “Once we were introduced to Ritual, there was an immediate connection and the potential synergies between our projects became clear. Ritual’s tools, especially the Infernet SDK and node client, are aligned with our vision to improve GPU utilization and open new markets. We look forward to seeing how this partnership will help us attract more developers and enable groundbreaking use cases in AI computing.”

Ritual co-founder Akilesh Potti echoed Shadid’s comments, saying: “Collaborating with io.net is an important milestone for Ritual. Extensive infrastructure and global compute access combined with the AI stack create powerful synergies. Together, we are ready to unlock new possibilities and efficiencies that will benefit both developers and users.”

io.net plans to orchestrate Ritual’s Infernet SDK, Infernet Node Client, and Ritual Chain components to increase GPU utilization in the io.net cloud, attract more developers, and enable numerous new use cases and markets for the network.

Ritual is currently building a sovereign chain for AI, leveraging software to enable distributed inference, model marketplace, and heterogeneous proof, along with modular tools to help connect AI to on-chain workloads.

io.net and Ritual aim to raise the standard in the global AI computing space and provide more cost-effective, accessible and innovative solutions to users and AI/ML engineers through technology partnerships and coordination between the business teams of both organizations. .

Introduction to io.net

io.net deploys and manages on-demand distributed GPU clusters on the IO Network. The IO Network is a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) of geographically distributed GPUs from multiple sources. Hundreds of thousands of GPUs are now accessible on the IO Network, an Internet of GPUs designed specifically for low-latency, high-processing demand use cases such as AI/ML workloads and cloud gaming. io.net democratizes access to GPU compute capacity while reducing costs, shortening lead times, and expanding choice for engineers and enterprises. Access compute capacity for a fraction of the cost or become a capacity provider at https://www.io.net.
