Introducing Sorare’s Premier League Winter Competition: Play for $500,000 in Total Cash Rewards | Sorare | Sorare | November 2023
The competition takes place every weekend of Premier League matches, starting on Matchday 13 (25 November 2023) and ending on Matchday 22 (30 January 2024). This includes a total of 11 game weeks, including the thrilling Boxing Day match on 26 December.
The Premier League winter competition begins on 25 November (Game Week 427).
Each Game Week offers the opportunity to win prizes (scores are not cumulative and are GW-based). The Premier League winter competition features 11 separate game week competitions. This is not a monthly contest.
The following Premier League fixtures are not included as some fixtures fall outside the weekend fixture week and the schedule changes due to Manchester City’s participation in the Club World Cup.
- December 12: Crystal Palace vs. brighton
- December 26: Newcastle vs. Nottingham Forest
- January 12: West Ham vs. brighton
- Postponed: Manchester City vs. brentford
Limited to 270
Coaches must create a five-man lineup based on the player’s average final 15-point (L15) score, within a 270-point limit. Both XP and captain bonuses apply.
This competition only covers Premier League player scores.

- Limited: Requires at least four Limited cards for the 2023-24 season.
- Rare: Requires at least 3 rare cards from the 2023-24 season.
- Super Rare: Requires at least 3 Super Rare cards from the 2023-24 season.
- Unique: Requires at least 2 unique cards from the 2023-24 season.
multiple entry
In this competition, managers can enter up to three lineups (15 cards) per game week. We’re excited to offer a variety of lineup strategies to choose from for managers competing for bragging rights and big rewards. This format allows managers to receive multiple rewards if their lineup performs well.
We will analyze the results to determine whether a multiple entry format is appropriate for similar competitions in the future. We believe that the multi-entry format offers an attractive variation of the 7- or 11-sided competitions discussed in the community.
This competition only offers prize money ($500,000 total*). There are no card rewards. Details on the prize pool** are below:
*Total cash prize of $500,000 is the total amount of all prizes awarded during the Premier League Winter Competition and does not reflect any single prize amount.
**Premier League Matchday 21 will be split into two game weeks (GW 441 and GW 443). There are five Premier League matches in each of the two game weeks. During these two game weeks, the $50,000 prize pool will be halved to $25,000 for each game week. For example, first place in Limited will receive $500 in rewards for Game Week 441 and Game Week 443.
As we shared in our latest product roadmap, we want to iterate on our competitive format to create more sustainable and fun gameplay for Sorare and our community.
In addition to winter competitions, we are working hard to explore more competitions with different eligibility rules, including league-specific competitions and competitions related to previous season cards.
We will be closely monitoring your feedback and the results of this competition to brainstorm more ideas for future competitions.
