Unfortunately, despite GalaChain being operational, many game items still remained on the Ethereum network until recently, causing enormous inconvenience to the community as a whole and limiting what could be implemented in the ecosystem.
Not anymore! Most of the NFTs owned by Gala Games have now been transferred to GalaChain, allowing us to do fun new things with them!
We are no longer limited by the constraints of the Ethereum network. This goes beyond saving gas, as GalaChain has features that Ethereum does not have. We designed GalaChain to be the perfect blockchain for web3 games!

Any NFTs migrated to GalaChain do not need to be stored solely in a vault. Game items are meant to be enjoyed, and GalaChain is where the game happens!
We’ve leveraged the power of the chain to load most of this inventory into shiny new mystery boxes for your unboxing pleasure. This box will go on sale starting August 21st. Each box contains three NFTs of a title on our platform. You never know what you’ll get until you open the box, but that’s part of the fun!

Each box contains a wide variety of items and, crucially, they are all GalaChain items! This means there is no ETH gas to buy or release.
Each mystery box contains three items and is organized into five tiers.

- Gold: $99
- Platinum: $249
- Diamond: $999
The higher the tier of the box, the more rare game items it will contain, but we’ve done our best to ensure that each box contains an interesting and useful item for the lucky player who opens it.

Each Mystery Box is itself an NFT on GalaChain, with each tier representing a different level of rarity (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, and Ancient). You can open chests at any time within your inventory and watch as new items are revealed!
We have assembled over 30,000 boxes spanning all rare items. Which box you receive is random, but the boxes contain a variety of goodies so that you don’t end up with three items from the same game in one box.
