Halloween Countdown with Stories from StoryLink Radio – Hypergrid Business

Story Link Radio and Shenchai Library will be hosting Halloween-themed live audio, streaming, and in-world storytelling sessions throughout the month of October, which is peak storytelling season.

Citizens of the virtual world can hear the story at Kitely’s Halloween Merchant Mall. At the same time, you can also video feed and chat. StoryLink’s YouTube Channel For all stories.

Audiences can wear clothes themed to each story or watch the performance as they are.

As with all other story sessions hosted by StoryLink, a live host or storyteller will tell the story, and the audience can also participate by chatting with each other and commenting on the story, either in-world or via StoryLink’s YouTube channel.

A new story every night

StoryLink will be releasing a new short story every night throughout the month of September as the countdown to Halloween continues.

The story unfolds across a variety of genres, including ghosts, apparitions, and suspense. You can follow the series here: StoryLink’s YouTube Channel. Our YouTube channel currently has over 100 stories archived for on-demand listening.

Here’s a series of Halloween-themed stories from StoryLink Radio:

At The Pines: This is an Appalachian ghost or horror story by Karl Edward Wagner that presages The Shining, a story published three years earlier. Time and Date: Thursday, September 28, 7:00 – 8:30 PM Pacific Time.

Problems with headbands: A supernatural noir hardboiled detective story featuring Sam Hunter, a Los Angeles private investigator with a misanthropic side rather than a soft side. Time and Date: Thursday, October 5, 7:00 – 8:30 PM Pacific Time.

Heartseeker – Space Horror: The story explores the alien nightmares and horrors of the deepest, darkest universe, where the stars are cold and there are no benevolent first contacts or utopian worlds. Time and Date: Thursday, October 5, 9-10 PM Pacific Time.

Scary stories from campout sleepovers: The annual Campout Sleepover in the Haunted Forest will be held on Thursday, October 12 from 6-8 PM Pacific Time. A fun and scary story suitable for children aged 10 and up. Come to your favorite Halloween party. Comes with a campfire, tent, sleeping bag, candles, pizza, popcorn, candy lanterns, marshmallows, dark stormy nights, and reading scary stories for Sleepovers.

Friday Special: Stephen King’s 1408: In this story, Mike Enslin, best-selling author of real-life ghost stories, decides to spend a night in one of New York’s most haunted hotel rooms. The story was made into a film starring John Cusak, Samuel Jackson, and Tony Shalhoub. Time and Date: Friday, October 13, 7:00 – 8:00 PM Pacific Time.

stick: This Lovecraftian, psychedelic gothic horror story is a precursor to The Blair Witch Project. Time and Date: Thursday, October 19, 7:00 – 8:30 PM Pacific Time.

Alien Horror three, The City of Frozen Shadows, The Black Ocean and Graveyard: The trio of Alien Horrors unleash horrors from the films Alien, Jaws, Terminator, X-Minus One, Twilight Zone, and Outer Limits. The City of Frozen Shadows is the story of the last survivors on Earth hiding in a destroyed city haunted by alien exterminators. Black Ocean tells the story of an astronaut adrift in a foggy alien ocean who is attacked by a giant predator. Graveyard stories explore the deepest, darkest spaces. The stars are cold, evil eyes that gaze upon the unknown, the unnameable, the vast vineyards of the undead. The planet is a tomb, the moon a haunted catacomb. Halloween-themed items at Halloween Mall and Seanchai Library

The Halloween Mall is open year-round and sells free Halloween and fall merchandise, and the Seanchai Library hosts fall-themed presentations, poems, and stories from numerous artists and storytellers throughout the fall season.
