Decentraland’s flagship virtual event returns from April 9 to 12 to show digital fashion with new canvas for storytelling, behavioralism and global identity.

Methabus Fashion Week (MVFW) returns to Decentraland from April 9 to 12. It returns in a fashion environment where traditional high -end sales decrease and consumer preferences develop. MVFW 2025 emphasizes the relevance of digital fashion with meaningful reactions to these industrial changes. According to this year’s theme, more than 47 global designers and brands use digital media to challenge creative boundaries and express subtle cultural identity.

The newly designed desktop client of this platform hosted in Decentraland 2.0 provides improved visual, larger interactions and better accessibility. This improvement developed during the chaos of this event provides an immersive and attractive environment for both attendees and producers.

“MetaverSe Fashion Week of the Year comes at an important moment of fashion and our society. Bay Backner, head producer of MVFW. “I had a privilege to cooperate closely with all designers and brands, and I saw a way to raise a voice that digital fashion is not heard, ask important questions, and trigger real cultural changes. It can be a place where you can breathe and truly make it.

Runway: Fashion as a cultural dialogue

The runway has always been the cornerstone of fashion weeks around the world, but the MVFW 2025 reconstructs this classic form through immersive, collaboration and interactive experience. Participants can expect creative surprises as designers financing the runway with an innovative animation collection that blurs the boundaries between digital and physical fashion.

Cyberdog: The symbolic brand of London brings neon injection and intense culture aesthetics into the virtual area, mixing future fashion with underground electronics.

Youth free: Ghana’s Free THE YOUTH emphasizes African streetware and creativity and celebrates a bold and culturally driving design that connects the physical and virtual world.

The banner we wear: Decentraland’s inauguration MVFW Prize unveils personal collections of emerging designers. This unique competition has challenged designers with a $ 15,000 prize to create a digital wearable that conveys a powerful message about identity, behavioralism and elasticity. The winning item debuts on a dedicated runway, paying attention to urgent social stories and often raising alienated voices in alcohol.

Interactive Designer Showroom: Digital Fashion as Storytelling

At the center of MVFW 2025 is 16 interactive designer showrooms, and each explores the interaction of fashion, technology and cultural stories. This showroom is divided into two topics. Augmented self and Story itselfIt provides a unique and complementary perspective on digital self -expression.

  • Enhanced self: This area emphasizes the innovative use of AI, AR and digital-physical (“phygital”) fashion. The showroom includes Digital DRIP’s AI drive styling, ffface.me Ar-Enhanced Virtual Fashion, NFT driving wearable cooperation, and other 1 x Templa NFT drive wearable collaboration and chipped Microchip manicure technology.
  • Story Self: This area, which is dedicated to fashion with cultural storytelling, illuminates global stories and identity -oriented collections. The main highlights include adaptive fashion for the prostheses of SVD denim in Ukraine, a digital wearable inspired by the mycelial body of Amsterdam’s GLTCH ATELIER, and the culturally resonating digital storytelling of Puerto Rico’s time -space group.

Immersive experience and insightful conversation

Beyond the runway and showroom, MVFW 2025 invites attendees to experience transformative fashion installation and dialogue that explores identity, technology and culture.

  • CANSY’s “ENTANGLED Q”: Installing quantum inspiration art featuring avatars dynamically transforming fluid identity.
  • “World foreign expansion” of immersive type: The future display that combines AI created beauty, robot engineering quantum and interstellar aesthetics.

The selected series of panels falls deeper into major dialogue, and deals with the evolution of the avatar in digital self -expression, the impact on the fashion creativity of AI, the wearable technology in the game environment and the intersection of physical and virtual retail. The panelist includes Harper’s’ S Bazaar Australia industry leader, Parsons School of Design, Ready Player Me, Institute Français de la Mode, and Boy’s Club.

MetaverSe Fashion Week 2025 has a shift with an appetite of fashion that has meaning beyond trends and a conversion of important stories and identities that resonate around the world. As digital space becomes an essential platform for expression, Decentraland opens new possibilities for creators and communities to create a more free and comprehensive fashion vision. With the immersive runway, interactive storytelling, and challenging the current state, MVFW 2025 invites everyone to experience how digital fashion can be reflected and reconstructed.

About Decentraland:

Decentraland is the first community -centered social virtual world. This allows users to create, explore, and connect in an open and immersive digital environment that completely owns digital assets. Whether you are hosting a virtual event or designing a digital identity, individuals can form a world that prioritizes self -expression and freedom due to the constraints of corporate control. The decentraland, which is dominated by the community and supported by the non -profit foundation through the distributed autonomous organization (DAO), is operated as an open source that encourages creativity, ownership and innovation. By fostering collaboration and community, Decentraland forms a future of digital interaction where individuals can truly own and build digital life.
