Gate Update: Gate US expands to 47 jurisdictions and launches Visa card amid market rebound and new product launches

Gate’s foray into mainstream financial services deepened in several ways this week. Gate US has secured a Florida money transfer service license, providing a compliant operating footprint in 47 U.S. jurisdictions and strengthening the exchange’s long-term regulatory strategy in one of the most scrutinized financial markets in the country. On the product side, Gate US has partnered with Visa, Stripe, and Bridge to launch Gate Card. This will allow eligible US users to use stablecoins like USDC through Visa’s global merchant network with automatic conversion at the point of sale. This move is consistent with the thesis outlined in Gate Research’s newly released report, “Crypto Finance Goes ‘Wall Street’.” The paper argues that cryptocurrency exchanges and traditional brokerages are converging toward integrated financial accounts and points to Gate’s expansion into real-world stock trading. Against this backdrop, the past few days have been a flurry of product launches, market data milestones and campaign updates across Gate’s ecosystem.

BTC, ETH and metals

Cryptocurrency markets showed signs of recovery, with BTC trading at $63,828 (+3.2% in 24 hours) and ETH trading at $1,767.87 (+2.36%). Gate’s BTC futures trading volume reached $4.86 billion and spot trading volume reached $677 million, both ranking third globally. Gate’s ETH futures trading volume was approximately $3.78 billion, and its spot trading volume was $178 million, also placing it in the top three. At a broader network level, ETH 24-hour futures volume fell 11.92% to $33.16 billion, with Gate accounting for $4.25 billion in futures volume and $2.11 billion in open interest.

In metals, gold (XAU) rose to $4,127.44 (+1.27%) and silver (XAG) rose to $60.36 (+3.50%). Gate XAU futures open interest reached $184 million and XAG reached $57.24 million, both ranking in the top two in the industry. Gate’s XAUT spot trading volume also reached approximately $10.16 million, ranking second in the world.

Global stocks: active sessions in all three markets

Gate Stocks’ 24/7 ecosystem, encompassing over 12,500 stock and ETF assets across the US, Hong Kong and South Korea markets, saw strong sessions in all three regions. NVIDIA rose 3.66% to $204.15 after adjusting for the semiconductor sector, while Gate’s NVDAX futures topped the entire network with $3.39 million in 24-hour trading volume. Among U.S. growth stocks, healthcare services company rYojbaba (RYOJ) leads the pack with gains exceeding 30%, followed by laser technology company nLIGHT (LASR, +27.42%) and geothermal energy company Fervo Energy (FRVO, +15.86%).
