The competition set a new record for the series with approximately 100,000 participants. The total number of participants for WCTC S6 was 90,290, setting a new record for the event. The team competition attracted 25,799 users, while the 1v1 King PK competition was the most popular, attracting 85,855 registrants. The increase in registrants for WCTC S6 is particularly notable when compared to previous editions. The number of participants increased exponentially from 4,056 in the first edition to 90,290 in the sixth edition.
In this edition, the 1v1 King Duel event stands out for its streamlined design. Featuring a “2 hours per match” format, the activity aims to minimize the time investment of participants while maintaining the excitement of competition. The entry fee is set at 100 USDT, which helps attract more users with a relatively low price. This design approach is in line with the current trend of competitive events.
In terms of rewards, the 1v1 PK event implemented a “100%” reward mechanism, where eligible participants could receive cash prizes or other rewards such as lucky bags and customized items. This approach increased user engagement and enhanced the overall appeal of the event by providing significant rewards.
Additionally, participants had the option to register for both the team competition and the PK event simultaneously, providing multiple opportunities for participation. Meanwhile, the ongoing Red Packet Lane activity throughout the event increased user engagement and added an additional entertainment element to the competition.
