Audio artificial intelligence (AI) company ElevenLabs has announced the launch of a Grants program tailored for creative projects launched by early-stage B2C and B2B companies. The company plans to allocate 4,000 grants to innovators exploring ways to integrate human-like AI voices into their projects.
Each grant recipient will have access to ElevenLabs technology, unlocking 33 million text characters over three months to support product development, testing and scaling.
The overarching goal of the Grants program is to provide over 100 billion text-to-speech and AI character dubbing to emerging platforms, allowing those ventures to explore AI tools for free. After approval, recipients will have the option to convert the plan to a regular subscription at a significant discount.
Empowering businesses and creators through text-to-speech AI
To qualify for a grant, startups and companies must complete an application and detail how their product or business will integrate human-like AI voice. To be eligible, startups must have fewer than 25 team members at the time of receiving the grant.

As our community expands and enterprises adopt our technology, we want to lower the barriers to getting started with ElevenLabs,” said Carles Reina, vice president of revenue at ElevenLab, in a written statement. “The Grants service is designed to help thousands of businesses or entrepreneurs turn their vision into reality. We want to see what they create.”
Founded in 2022 by a former Google machine learning engineer, ElevenLabs specializes in AI voice technology and helps publishers, entertainment companies, and creators create voice content at scale.
The company’s proprietary algorithms include situational awareness, which allows it to automatically adjust speech delivery without human intervention, creating a human-like voice suitable for a variety of purposes.
