Elleria Tales, a web-3 role-playing game built on the Arbitrum blockchain, has officially ended active development due to financial difficulties.
The development team will no longer be adding new features, but the game servers will remain operational for a limited time.
As the game enters its final stages, players will take part in the final world boss event.
Final Milestone: PvP Features
The Elleria Tales development team has announced that they can no longer continue developing the game due to lack of revenue.
Despite their efforts to sustain the project, they were unable to meet the financial requirements needed to further grow the game. As a result, no new updates or expansions will be added.
The last major update, introduced in September 2024, added player-versus-player (PvP) functionality. Initially conceived as a more complex system, the PvP mode was simplified into an auto-battler format due to budget constraints, completing the game’s planned roadmap.
Parting Gift: Final World Boss Event
To conclude the game, a final World Boss event against Zorag will run from September 5th to September 16th.
Players can compete by dealing damage to the boss, and the top 200 participants will share 50,000 ARB tokens based on their performance. The rewards are distributed as follows:
- 1st place: 5% of the pool
- 2nd place: 4%
- 3rd place: 3%
- 4th – 10th place: 2% each
- 11th – 25th: 1.5% each
- 26th – 50th: 1% each
- 51st – 100th: 0.3% each
- 101st – 200th: 0.1% each
Development has been halted, but the game servers are expected to remain operational for approximately six months or until funding runs out.
Players will still be able to access the game’s existing features, trade tokens, and engage with remaining content. Additionally, the game’s Discord server will remain open with limited capacity to keep players connected.
