Dynatrace launches AI observation tool to help solve generative AI problems

Cloud security company Dynatrace is expanding its analytics and automation platform to provide comprehensive observability and security for large language models (LLMs) and generative AI-based applications. According to the company, this initiative will enable organizations to confidently embrace generative AI to address performance, security, compliance and cost-effectiveness issues.

As interest in AI adoption grows and challenges associated with generative AI services grow, this solution provides insights into AI-based applications to help organizations optimize their AI investments while ensuring reliability and compliance.

“Generative AI is the new frontier of digital innovation,” said Bernd Greifeneder, CTO of Dynatrace. “This technology allows organizations to create innovative solutions that increase productivity, profitability and competitiveness. “While innovative, it poses new challenges for security, transparency, reliability, experience and cost management.”

“Organizations need AI observability that encompasses all aspects of generative AI solutions to overcome these challenges. “Dynatrace is expanding our observability and AI leadership to meet these requirements, helping our customers confidently and securely embrace AI with unparalleled insights into generative AI-based applications,” he added. .

Dynatrace AI Observability encompasses an end-to-end AI stack, including infrastructure, base models, semantic cache, vector database, and orchestration framework. Supports major platforms such as Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, Amazon SageMaker, and Google AI Platform.

Leverage the platform’s Davis AI and other core technologies to deliver accurate insights into AI-driven applications. It helps you identify performance bottlenecks, comply with privacy and security regulations, and control costs by monitoring token consumption.

Dynatrace provides cost-effective generative AI solutions

Gartner predicts that AI adoption will grow significantly by 2028, with more than 50% of cloud computing resources allocated to AI workloads. This reflects organizations’ growing interest in generative AI to improve efficiency, productivity, automation and innovation.

“Generative and predictive AI will open up new possibilities for businesses through ML and LLM services, but to implement them successfully, we need to ensure that the services that support these critical workloads are reliable and functioning properly,” said SVP of Engineering. Ryan Berry said: This is the architecture of OneStream.

“That’s why we rely on Dynatrace, a leader in AI and observability. “Our team uses Dynatrace to build and optimize generative AI apps that perform well and are cost-effective to manage and deploy at scale,” Berry added.

Despite this momentum, organizations are concerned that the costs associated with generative AI-based services may become more expensive and difficult to predict. Governments are also enacting regulations focused on responsible and ethical use of AI.

Organizations need comprehensive AI observability capabilities to ensure the success of their generative AI investments and avoid the risks of unpredictable behavior, AI “hallucinations,” and bad user experiences.

Dynatrace AI Observability will be available to all Dynatrace customers from the date of announcement.
