The fund receives contributions from a number of traditional investors and Web3 stakeholders, institutional groups and family offices across the EU, Middle East and Asia, and provides an entry point into the Web3 asset class, an area that may have previously lacked exposure.
Since 2020, Cryptomeria Capital has consistently surpassed the benchmarks set by the VC and Web3 industries, establishing a solid track record of successful investments and partnerships. With investments in over 60 projects, notable investments include Metis Layer 2 Protocol, IQ Protocol, Metamundo, and Magic Square.
“We are excited about this significant expansion opportunity following the first close of a VC fund focused on the Web3 domain.
