Cryptocurrency exchange OKX lists Dogwifhat (WIF) and Cat in a Dog's World (MEW) Memecoins for spot trading
Cryptocurrency exchange OKX announced its intention to list meme tokens Dogwifhat (WIF) and Cat in a Dog's World (MEW) on the spot trading market. Token deposits will begin today at 7 AM (UTC), and withdrawals will be available starting April 16 at 10 AM (UTC). USDT spot trading for both meme tokens will also begin today.
Dogwifhat is a fun cryptocurrency that runs on the Solana network and features a depiction of a dog wearing a hat. Its popularity within the cryptocurrency community stems from its meme-centric approach. Total Dogwifhat token supply is limited to 998,926,392.
MEW Coin, also based on the Solana blockchain, has recently been receiving a lot of attention for its approach of disrupting the landscape of dog-themed meme coins by introducing a new cat-centered narrative. With the aim of diverting liquidity from its competitors, MEW emerged to solidify its position and make a name for itself in the cryptocurrency market. The total supply of MEW tokens is set at 88,888,888,888.
As of this writing, the price of WIF is $3.05, reflecting an increase in value of more than 13% in 24 hours, as reported by CoinMarketCap.
MEW, meanwhile, is trading at just over half a cent, showing a 93% increase in value over the same 24 hours. The cryptocurrency has experienced growth of over 209% since its launch in late March, according to CoinMarketCap data.

Memecoin represents a subset of cryptocurrencies centered around internet memes, pop culture references, and viral online phenomena.
