Creating an Important Metaverse Goodreads

I realized this late, but I’m very happy to have found my book on Goodreads. It also includes this great review from long-time virtual world enthusiast Lorelei Armstrong:

I debated calling this review "The book that saved Zuckerberg billions of dollars" Because it provides great guidance for the industry and for those in a position to spend billions of dollars creating virtual worlds. I decided that the title of a book that anyone interested in the future of our relationship with the Internet should read might be limiting its audience. I’ve been in Second Life since mid 2007. There are three avatars running eight businesses. At one point I was making some serious (real) money. Now I pay my world bills. While listening to the Making a Metaverse that Matters audiobook, I found myself nodding often…

Wagner James Au captures the gap between what science fiction writers imagine and what exists, and explains the mistakes Linden Lab made along the way. "blind man and elephant" Now it feels like a virtual world. I hope this book will be read very widely by everyone building the virtual worlds of the future. Maybe we can avoid harmful errors. Mahalo, Wagner James Oh!

Mahalo is back in a big way, Lorelai! I would appreciate more Goodreads reviews if anyone reading this thinks so.
