We want to share our vision as we move beyond the early days of Gala development and into the future of GalaChain.
Five years ago we hosted a game. This was a time when GalaChain was a distant dream at best. We now have over a dozen independent projects running on our own L1 blockchain. We’re not slowing down either… More projects are being released continuously.
We will always be Gala Games, but we are now so much more than that. GalaChain is the fabric that unites everything we do, and we plan for a future where it is at the forefront of our strategy.
GalaChain outperforms the performance metrics of similar blockchains. This is mainly because it has been tempered by fire. Gaming is one of the most demanding activities in all of technology, and the fact that GalaChain is built to not only accommodate this but perform exceptionally well is a huge strength.
This is the need we saw when we started working on GalaChain. No other product really meets the level of demand that popular, high-end games demand. It wasn’t easy, but we optimized the chain and created the tools.
These tools are now a huge asset to us that we can translate into tools for other developers. These tools as well as the games have been development tested. A lot of what we learn under the pressure of gaming carries over to all kinds of developments.
Our chain has another important asset that cannot be ignored: the node network. The Founder’s Node network itself is a very powerful tool and is one of the largest decentralized node networks in the world. But more importantly, GalaChain simplifies the creation of independent node networks.
This means that new developers can come in and use our tools to spin up a network of nodes to support their projects. They can leverage the tools we’ve created after learning the hard lessons. They can leverage our existing pipeline to create something new and exciting. It’s so much better than we could have dreamed!
