Arbitrum Foundation Announces Phase 3 of Grants Program, Applications Open April 15

The Arbitrum Foundation, which is responsible for growing and supporting the Arbitrum (ARB) ecosystem, said it will be accepting applications for Phase 3 of its grant program from April 15 until the end of June. This announcement follows the completion of the second phase of the funding initiative on April 3.

The grant program aims to support early-stage teams as they begin their growth journey within the Arbitrum blockchain ecosystem. The goal is to foster the expansion of the Arbitrum developer and user community while attracting top-tier infrastructure providers to enhance network capabilities. This includes expanding the reach of Arbitrum technology across a diverse range of industries, use cases, and projects.

In Phase 3, the emphasis on decentralized applications (dApps) will remain, but a standardized method for awarding grant tracks will be introduced. Projects are categorized into distinct grant tracks based on stage, growth potential, and type. Each grant track has a defined goal and allocation amount, increasing transparency and equity in the grant allocation process.

The Foundation Grant Program is open to projects that participate in, contribute to, or enhance the Arbitrum ecosystem. However, Phase 3 will focus on dApp projects, including games, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), social platforms, decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), and DeFi applications.

The grant program rewards small and large teams and allocates up to $150,000 in ARB tokens.

The Grant Program offers two types of grants tailored to the specific needs and qualifications of the applicant team. Growth Grants serve small to medium-sized teams with proven expertise in smart contract development and Web3 product creation who want to deploy their projects. to arbitration. These grants can reach up to $50,000.

The program also offers an Advanced Growth Grant, designed for large teams with exceptional experience and a track record of success building Web3 products, with the goal of launching an initiative in Arbitrum. The total amount of these grants can be up to $150,000.

The majority of approved grants are typically between $10,000.00 and $150,000.00 in ARB tokens.

Applications that demonstrate alignment with Arbitrum’s goals, incorporating growth-oriented milestones and key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing a clear timeline for mainnet launch, are more likely to be considered favorable for grant program approval.
