Thank you to everyone who voted for AIP-003! Your decision to stake Axie Treasury’s ETH has provided Lunacia with a new revenue stream. Today we put forward a similar proposal. Should I stake my AXS and RON to the Treasury? Let’s talk about AIP-004:
Axie Treasury holds approximately 23,000,000 AXS and 96,000 RON. At current prices, these tokens are worth more than US$23 million. If passed, today’s proposal would make all of these tokens functional. AXS → staked out via App.axie and Staking is done through RON → LRON staking protocol.
This proposal emerged from community discussions focused on strengthening AXS token economics, reducing idle supply, and expanding the Treasury’s long-term fiscal capacity.
Once AIP-004 is passed, the Treasury will begin accumulating RON of AXS and LRON of staking contracts. AXS staking emissions are limited, so adding ~23 million AXS to the Treasury will reduce the APR for existing stakers. Throughout the discussion, there was a common view that the APR impact was a reasonable balance at the expense of revitalizing the Treasury and strengthening the ecosystem base. The rewards accrued to the Treasury will fuel future plans, creating compounding benefits for the entire Axie community.
