in other words, now I’m trying to create custom featured images for all my articles to make them more collectible, and I’ve found the AI Image Generator app to be a fantastic resource for this.

Text-Image AI Model: stable spread

outline: Starryai allows you to create images based on a variety of public styles built by the team (e.g. 3D art, animation, portraits, etc.) or create your own custom style by uploading a photo with your target aesthetic.
The UI is easy to navigate and offers a variety of options from simple to advanced. You can create a new drawing from a text prompt, a sketch, or an existing drawing. Starryai also allows you to enlarge, remix, modify, and create new variations on the images you create.

Text-Image AI Model: middle journey
platform: Discord and mobile (Android + iOS)
expense: Niji Journey offers a free trial that allows you to create 20 free images. Beyond that, the app offers paid subscription tiers that run from Mini-Plan ($4.99 per month for up to 80 images) to Pro Plan (30 hours of fast generation for $59.99 per month).
outline: Previously, Midjourney was only available in the Discord app. That all changed this month when the modeler partnered with Spellbrush to launch Niji Journey, an animation-focused AI image creation app.
As of now, I find Niji’s UI to be a bit clunkier and harder to navigate than Starryai’s. only It was released when Starryai was about a year old. And you will definitely have an “Aha!” The moment you feel for Niji.
That said, what’s unique about this app is that it provides a real-time feed of community creations right from the main interface. If you want to try your hand at creating your own creations, the “Imagine” tab allows you to enter your own text prompts and remix the images you create.

Text-Image AI Model: From 3
platform: Discord and mobile (Android + iOS)
expense: Currently, one of the easiest ways to interact with DALL·E 3 is through ChatGPT Plus, which costs $20 per month for a subscription. The good thing is that this subscription also grant you access GPT-4 and advanced data analytics (Formerly “Code Interpreter”.) resource.
outline: OpenAI, the ChatGPT AI platform builder, has been released. DALL·E 3 access for all ChatGPT Plus users. In my experience, it sometimes feels like Stable Diffusion or Midjourney struggle with very detailed text prompts, but anecdotally, so far DALL·E 3 seems to really shine in handling complexity. To try it out, log into ChatGPT, click on the “GPT-4” tab and select the “DALL·E 3” option from the drop-down menu. As you can see below, the model generates four unique trials for the prompt you provide.
Prompt and output examples: “The silhouette of the Ethereum logo is densely filled with vivid, detailed images of crystals of various sizes, types, and colors, without outlines.”
Stability Diffusion, Midjourney, and DALL·E 3 are the “big three” of current image-to-text AI models, and the apps listed above (Starryai, niji·journey, and ChatGPT) are streamlined interfaces for interaction. With each of these models.
So when should you use it? It just depends on your personal needs or preferences.
For example, I find that I enjoy using Stability Diffusion in my personal creative work. Zora’s Stable Pfister, in my opinion, because of its subtle flaws that lead to interesting artistic possibilities. Meanwhile, I started experimenting with using DALL·E 3 to create high-quality professional content for social media and more.
It’s up to you to explore and figure out what works best for your flow. Also, keep in mind that there are more text-to-image AI models than the Big Three, and there are many more AI image creation apps beyond the trio highlighted in this post. These things here can certainly help you get started, but at the same time they’re only scratching the surface of the possibilities!
