Players can now create an account and play for free. Holders of the top NFT collections of over 140 will be able to play as 3D versions of their NFT avatars in-game.
The launch of Nifty Island’s open beta means that the game’s Play-to-Airdrop system, where open beta participants earn $ISLAND tokens, is now also live.

What is Nifty Island?
Nifty Island is a community-driven gaming platform where players can create and play games together, explore player-created islands, and compete for rewards.
Each player gets an island plot for free. It can be used to build imaginative spaces, design stunning environments, and create everything from competitive to casual games that other players can jump into. Obstacle courses, battle royale mode, spy hunting, and more are all available within the game.
UGC (User Generated Content) is a big part of Nifty Island. Artists can create weapons, avatars, and environmental objects to place on their island or sell to other players to upgrade their experience. Island designers can make money by building environments and experiences that attract players to their islands.
A collection of over 140 NFTs has partnered with Nifty Island, allowing users to play with NFT avatars and unlock exclusive in-game experiences. This includes projects such as Bored Ape Yacht Club, Pudgy Penguins, Cool Cats, and more.

How does Play-to-Airdrop work?
Players can play minigames and build exciting games and experiences to attract players to their island and climb the weekly leaderboards. This allows you to earn a variety of rewards, from in-game wearables to coveted NFTs and $ISLAND tokens.
Quests, which will soon debut in-game, will give players another way to progress and earn various rewards.
Exact details about the activities that will reward $ISLAND tokens or when the airdrop will occur have not yet been revealed.
