Origins Season 7 is here and the Rare Era is ready to welcome the fiercest Lunasians!

This era lasts two weeks, while a full season lasts seven weeks (49 days). The Epic and Mystic eras each last two weeks, while the Final era lasts one week. At the end of the season, we will host an Elite 8 tournament to determine the final champion of Season 7. More details about Elite 8 will be shared soon.

We’ve updated the leaderboard reward system, increased AXP emissions, added collectible leaderboards, and introduced more items to the Origins store to help you prepare for the season.

There’s a lot to cover, so let’s dive right in!

This season we are introducing a hybrid leaderboard reward system where top leaderboard finishers will receive both AXS and SLP tokens. We’re also expanding the leaderboard back to the top 20,000, giving more Lunacians a chance to compete and earn rewards!

A total of approximately $641,000 USD (*current value) of AXS and SLP will be secured this season, or 9,450 AXS and 6.8 million SLP will be secured this era.

SLP will be part of this season’s rewards structure to help players prepare and transition seamlessly from one Era to the next. A healthy SLP burn/mint ratio can be used to experiment with different reward structures like this.

Starting today, Origins’ daily AXP limit is increasing! The new formula is: 1,500 * Axi Level* = Daily AXP limit in Origins.

For example, a level 10 Axi can earn up to 15,000 AXP per day in Origins.

We are also increasing AXP emissions in the arena. (see photo above), which expands as you rise in rank. Even ‘no stamina’ matches will emit AXP until the axis reaches its daily AXP limit. Players who have reached Challenger rank can earn up to 500 AXP per win using stamina, or 250 AXP without stamina.

If you lose a match, you will also be awarded the minimum AXP. However, for a surrendered match to gain AXP, it must meet specified conditions within the game. According to the rules, participation rewards are lost before the 10th turn, unless the team’s HP exceeds 25% or more than 5 cards are used.

These terms apply to prevent abuse of the AXP system.

As an added bonus, you can earn AXP in Arcade mode too. Although it is much lower than the ranking. However, for players who want to relax and enjoy a more casual experience while earning some much-needed AXP, Arcade Mode may be a good option!

IMPORTANT: The AXP mechanic in Origins may change at the end of each era. We will continue to collect feedback and data to help us balance AXP emissions at Origins.

Building AXP is faster than ever, but it still takes a lot of time to level up your best axes. But what if you could earn more AXP faster?

AXP Boosters are the latest item released in the Origins Shop! This powerful drink can boost the AXP gains of your entire axie team.

AXP Booster is available in three variants: 8 hours, 7 days, and 30 days. When activated, it provides a 40% AXP gain boost.

For example, in Challenger you now gain 700 AXP per health win (500 AXP without AXP boosters).

Additionally, collectible axes earn more AXP, giving you an additional AXP flat bonus when the AXP booster is activated. Each win gives you an additional +50 per win, +30 per draw, and +10 per loss. This bonus applies to all collectible axes from Summer to Mystic.

AXP boosters aren’t the only ones walking the red carpet at the Origins Shop…

Do axes need to be powered on to create leaderboards? easy. Rune and Talisman chests will soon be available in the Origins store!

Buy these chests with gems and find the runes and amulets you need to climb the ladder. This is a Mystery Chest, so you’ll only get random runes/talismans.

These rune and talisman chests are available in every mid-age.

While you wait for these chests to become available, you can purchase crafting materials like Moonshards and Ancient Moonstones from the Origins store for immediate use at the start of every era, allowing you to craft essential power-ups to strengthen your Axes!

This season, Origins is experimenting with a collectibles leaderboard system to reward the most dedicated and skilled collectors.

A separate leaderboard system is exclusive to Collectible axie holders, with a total AXS prize pool of 4,000 available for the entire season. Prize distribution will be shared soon!

Here’s how the new collectibles leaderboard system works:

– Play arena matches with collectible Axis
– Players must have physical strength
– Players accumulate points (including stamina) for each win in the rankings.
– When the season ends, the final points are added up to determine the ranking and rewards.

Challenger = +10

Dragon = +7

Tiger = +5

Bear = +3

Wolf = +2

Boar = +1

Per collectible bonus points

  • Mystic = +4

  • Origin = +2

  • Meo/Christmas/JP/SHINee = +1

We are also working on a visual representation of this leaderboard that will soon be published on the Axie DAO website.

It’s definitely an exciting time to be an Axie Collector!

But wait… there’s more!

Becoming an Axie Collector is a fun and rewarding experience, especially in Origins.

At the end of every Age (except the Final), owners of Collectible Axes can receive additional AXS rewards based on the highest tier of Collectible Axes they own.

For example, if you own a Mystic axie, you can get between 12.8 and 80 AXS if you meet the Era criteria (illustrated in the photo above). Please note that this is only an estimate and may vary depending on the number of collector tickets still in circulation.

This season introduces two new changes:

First, Summer axies can now earn some AXS rewards! Summer axes can use nets ranging from .035 to .2 AXS. Beginner collectors or Lunacians just entering the collectibles scene will now receive additional benefits by becoming a Summer axie holder. This will encourage more players to become collectors!

Second, instead of sending AXS as is, we plan to distribute ‘collector tickets’ for each era. These collector tickets will be converted to corresponding AXS at the end of the season.

IMPORTANT: You must have the collectible axie on your account at least 3 days before the end of the Era to receive the reward.

We are introducing several changes to our production this season. Here are the details!

  • Epic Moment: Players can earn Epic R/C after crafting from Intermediate – SLP and Intermediate – Gem recipes 20 times.

  • Ancient Moonstone: Ancient Moonstone (basic) has been enhanced to increase rune generation chance by 30%. Two new rarities of Ancient Moonstone have been added.
