A six-year promise has been fulfilled. The Evolution of Axle Parts arrived at Lunacia last week. Today you’ll find out exactly what these new parts upgrades can do in the Axie Origins arena.

Part evolution will be a big part of Axie Origins. Axies are now dynamic NFTs that can be improved with time, effort, and skill. These improvements can be felt in the Arena, where evolved axes will have a slight edge in combat.
Axies receive an additional +1 HP per level and an additional +2 for every level of Ascension. (e.g. level 9-10 grants +3 to total bonus HP).
Of the 192 parts, 42 will receive effect improvements and the remaining 150 will receive stat boosts. The average stat boost for this card is 15%.

Evolved axes not only experience visual upgrades, but also become slightly stronger on the battlefield. If you’re a competitive player who wants to succeed in the arena and competitive leaderboards, grinding your AXP and evolving your axes should be your top priority!
On January 3rd of this year, we will release the official balancing patch for the upcoming season. If all goes according to plan, Origins Season 7 will begin in mid-January.

The Origins team made these changes based on Season 6 data and community feedback. We want to give players as much time as possible to theorize and prepare during the off-season before S7 launches!
You can expect more in-depth patch updates as we get closer to the release of Season 7.
Lastly, please note that this is not the final update! Additionally, it is not yet activated in-game. Stay tuned for further updates on this balancing patch and the Origins Season 7 start date.
